Painting Picnic

We would like you, your family, your friends, your Bible study -- in short -- all of you, to add your painting to the gallery wall!

Painting Picnic

May 23, 2021

A construction wall has been erected in the town square to safely separate the construction area for the new sanctuary from church visitors.  After staring at this 75 foot long, white expanse it was decided to enlist the congregation’s time and talents to create a gallery art wall.   A collection of paint canvases in all sizes and shapes have been hung on the wall.  We would like you, your family, your friends, your Bible study — in short — all of you, to add your painting to the gallery wall!

We are holding a Painting Picnic on Sunday, May 23 with food, beverage and painting supplies.  Can’t make it on the 23rd?  Stop by church and pick up a canvas of your choosing.  Pick a size, sign your name on the wall behind the canvas and bring your masterpiece back when it is finished.   Need some creative inspiration?  After confirmation Laura Vowell will be sharing some ‘thought starters’ that may help guide your efforts.  We have more wall space than canvases, so we have room for everyone; “we’ll make more”.
