Second Construction Cam Added

On September 22, 2021, a second construction camera was added to the Sacred Space web site.  A view from on top of the music wing, looking south along the west side of the new sanctuary is now available.  Cam #2 can be accessed from the home page (just below the button for Cam #1) or by clicking here.

Recent activity on this side of the building included:

• the forming and pouring of the foundations for the expanded music wing
• the unloading and staging of the custom fabricated steel beams for the organ chamber and balcony
• the location of the large crane that is lifting steel over the block walls inside the sanctuary.

Over the coming weeks work on this side of the building will include:

• moving the remaining steel members in to place
• laying the block walls for the new music wing expansion.

Eventually this second camera will be swallowed up by the new roof line that will connect the current music wing with the expanded music space.  Around that time the plan is to move Cam #2 inside the new church sanctuary for a continuous “insider’s” view of the new sanctuary construction.

You can always “rewind” to a prior day’s activity you may have missed.  Just click on the far left side of the video feed and a menu will pop up with a list of prior dates.  Select any date and the video will begin at midnight.  Over just a minute or two the entire day will unfold in fast forward.  You can change the display speed or pause the video by clicking controls along the bottom of the video feed.
