Electrical Work Continues Throughout Sanctuary

Team of Electricians Work Throughout Sanctuary

Electrical panels, conduits, controls installed

While light fixtures won’t be hung for some time, electricians have been hard at work installing electrical panels, electrical controls, electrical conduit and boxes and even a new electric lift for the Redeemer chandelier.

These circuit panels and master light controls run regular and emergency lights for the chancel and nave.

Conduits run from the front of the church, along the side walls, across the ceiling and down to the rear AV booth.

Conduits that run power, audio/visual, network data and hearing loop wires terminate at the AV booth.

Supports for the Redeemer chandelier, carefully stored during construction, is being installed in the ceiling.

The chandelier will be installed in an even more prominent location in the center of the nave.

A new electric lift (which replaces an old hand crank) will make lowering the chandelier easy and safe.

Two powerful lights have been installed on the new roof to illuminate the new steeple.

A continuous line of LED lights will sit inside the ceiling light cove, casting indirect light on the barrel ceiling.

Sixteen of these discreet lights (floods and spots) will be recessed in the cove molding above the chancel.
